Accessibility

Persons with mobility impairments can access the library through a ground level entrance located to the south of the library stairs.   Call buttons and an intercom are at this location which ring at the circulation desk. Every attempt is made to respond to the call request as quickly as possible. After entering the building a main elevator is located at the opposite end from the entrance to provide access to the first and second floors.

Persons requiring assistance in retrieving and/or photocopying materials should contact the circulation desk at 817.257.7112 for assistance.  

Height adjustable tables are located in the Information Commons computer lab and are indicated by the wheelchair symbol signs on the surface.  To have a table adjusted please inquire at the information commons desk and computer lab staff will gladly assist in raising the table height as needed.

Specialized software is maintained at a single location in the Information Commons computer lab.

A closed circuit television (CCTV) is located In the Music/Media Library Audio/Visual Center.
